1000 Hands Buddha Qi Gong*Over the course of years, I have studied many forms of Tai Chi and Qi Gong as well as yoga. What I love about 1000 Hands Buddha is it's simple profundity. During times of stress and challenges, it acts like a reset button to calm our spirit, realign ourselves, and clear our minds.
Contrary to most forms of qi gong, 1000 Hands is conducted in the sitting position and the movement comes in the form of symbolic hand positions, known as mudras. It is perfect for those who want to meditate but have a hard time sitting still or for individuals who would like to do qi gong but have physical issues that prevent them from standing for long periods of time. *Tabitha is currently undergoing certification to teach Thousand Hands Buddha Qi Gong by the Ling Gui International Healing School. Why Qi Gong or Meditation?Research has demonstrated many benefits of meditation and qi gong: including increased mental clarity and memory as well as decreased anxiety and depression.
